about image

Money Moments was chosen as one of only eight websites honored this year by the Parents’ Choice Foundation. These awards go to “products that meet and exceed standards set by educators, scientists, performing artists, librarians, parents, and yes, kids themselves.”

What is Money Moments?
Our nine video programs model ideas you can use with your own children to help them develop successful financial habits that will last them a lifetime. Additional links provide you with tools and information you can use as you continue to guide your children’s financial learning.

Why Money Moments?
Research overwhelmingly demonstrates that parent involvement in children’s learning is positively correlated to achievement. This website is designed to support you in this task. Money Moments is part of a larger project called Financial Literacy: TEACH IT!, a resource for teachers designed around Wisconsin’s new Personal Financial Literacy standards.

Who created Money Moments?
Money Moments was created by the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board (ECB) in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions and produced by Wisconsin Public Television. The project was guided by a 10-member advisory committee, and partially funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
