How to get started:
Janel Anderson says:
"Find out who your partners are. Contact community organizations such as Rotary. Getting connected with people in your community can demonstrate to your school Board/administration that there is passion in your community for these efforts. Remember to work as part of a team—if you try to do this all on your own you will be overwhelmed! Contact statewide leadership organizations and institutions such as Wisconsin International Outreach Consortium (WIOC) or Friends of International Education. Also, check with local universities and colleges—contact the staff and instructors who support international students—they can often get you connected with guest speakers and point you to great resources."
